Dom Milli (The artist formerly known as Mac Milli), born Domenic Wright on July 4th, 1988 is a phenomenal Hip Hop Artist from the frigid Capitol of Saint Paul, Minnesota. He has an incredible lyrical delivery and a very unique and distinctive voice. The concepts and versatility of his music are nearly matched to none and has the potential to maybe one day be apart of music's elite. Aside from being a great artist Milli also is a producer and engineer. Milli studied at McNally Smith College of Music for Audio Engineering and Music Production, where his teacher Craig Rice (former manager of paisley park studios) quoted Milli as “The driving force of the hip hop program at McNally”. Currently working on his Senior Project entitle "Formerly Known" Hosted By Dj Skee set to drop 2014. Milli debuted his first single off of the project on iTunes ( https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/dont-move-single/id868359800 ). With his next project Milli is attempting to reintroduce his self to the world as Dom Milli. In 2012, Dom Milli then known as Mac Milli released two projects, the first being his junior mixtape entitled "Smokin Purple Weed Outta Blueberry Swisher (SPWOBS)" released May 15th, which was his first official release for Street Capital LLC (Available on HotNewHipHop.com/itzmemilli). The second project was a debut compilation mixtape for his label Street Capital LLC, released October 23rd entitled "Capitalism" in which Milli mixed the whole project (Available on iTunes). Milli's production credits also include Rich the Factor (Scrill or be Scrilled 2 & 3), Mac C (Route 89 II: Face Reality & Playing No Games), Prince Justice (Public Intoxication III), Taylor J (Now You Know, TJT Vol1, Mental Dope), and many more. With dreams of one day being a platinum selling artist and producer Milli also has aspirations of working in film. He hopes that with the release of “Formerly Known” he can catch the ears of the majors and build on the internet buzz that he is quickly gaining. He has performed at numerous open mics such as Voices Merging Open Mic on the U of M campus, where he was presented the opportunity to perform as the featured artist at there summer open mic on July 23rd 2011. Milli has also had the chance to perform at events such as the Chamber of Commerce St. Paul, MN where he sang bass for the national anthem, The Santa Monica museum of art in Santa Monica CA, Royal/T Cafe Culver City CA. Milli has shared stages with French Montana, Young Dro, Ace Hood, Yo Gotti, Travis Porter, and Hell Rell of Dipset. He has been cast in two commercials, featured in two fashion shows and has played over 200 shows.
