After experiencing some technical difficulties, work on the soundfont continues at pace. Although it may be harder for some to tell any difference to the old samples online now, there have been many changes and alterations, and also additions. The ultra realistic natural decay of some instruments are now gone, which would be most notible. But this is due to a lot of time spent looping some of the instruments samples, as nice as the natural decay was, some of the instruments just faded out too quickly even though the music requires the instrument to sound it's notes for much longer. This is now fixed, and the original samples will still be obtainable from other online sources (best of both worlds). Overall I'm still trying to get things to sound as realistic as I can with the free materials available.
As work continues, and ideas are put into production, I have to start thinking of how and where to host this soundfont (currently around 1.8Gb in size).
