Dangerously close to flirting with what would later become punk, the formative riff for this tune was written by Lou Jones in 1975. Vince Des Roches cooperated on its arrangement, and wrote most of the lyrics, with other band members assisting one Tuesday night in 1976. Steve Graham on vocals and rhythm/harmony lead guitar, Lou Jones on lead and rhythm guitar, James Pearson on bass, and Vince Des Roches on drums.
